Garnet Station serves beautiful breakfasts Tues – Sun and wood fired pizza Wed – Sun nights. Established 2007, our cafe boasts a smart boutique wine list, great New Zealand craft beer and a selection of organic non-alcoholic drinks including Tea Total teas and Chiasso organic coffee made with Green Valley organic milk.  Where possible we use organic meat in our breakfasts, pies, melts, and pizzas & we only use free range eggs & chicken. Down the side of the lane at the back of the bungalow cafe is a 35 seat theatre with plays & music scheduled all year round. Make a night of it and come for dinner before the show. Go to the Tiny Theatre selection below to find out what’s coming up and book a seat. The theatre is also perfect for birthday parties and private functions. Garnet Station provides the food and drink with no venue hire fee.

We are proud to host a wide variety of events at both Garnet Station and the Tiny Theatre. Along with regulars, such as Russell the Singing Cowboy who entertains preschoolers on Wednesday mornings (9.30am and 10.30am), we run theatre, film nights, workshops and music recitals.

  • Came in for wifi, but ended up making friends with the staff, really nicely laid out place, perfect vibe for a local. Everything we ordered was done with organic fresh and delicious veggies. Pizza is best I have had in town. Brownies are also top picks.
