Gareth Edwards Live at Garnet Station,

$15/ doorsales $20

Songs and stories to feel OK about who we are. My intention for our time together is to balance some of life’s toughness with a little joy, hope and connection. (And a cup of tea).

Most of my songs have ’joining in’ bits if you like that kind of thing. And I’ll share some stories. It’s what I imagine we used to do round the campfire most nights before smart phones, social media and TV-on-demand fulfilled our soul’s deepest desires.

“Messages of laughter, light, belief and hope, that we all need to embrace our wonderfully imperfect selves.” Dan Allan | Nelson Fringe Festival

“You’ll enjoy his take on life, love and happiness. You probably haven’t heard anything like this in a while.” Graham Reid | Elsewhere Magazine

Gareth Edwards is no stranger to a stage and has featured at times in his life on TV, radio, newspaper and in one man shows. He draws on his own journey after being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in his mid 20s and a mental health career as a government advisor, university researcher and service designer. Gareth is well loved for his ability to take you out of the every day hustle and bustle so you remember that life is not too bad and neither are you.
